Workplace Assessor for Compliance Managers AND Risk Managers

Purpose of the Programme: 

This programme is customised for the assessment of candidates who enrolled for the Compliance Officer / Risk Practitioner qualification and designations. It will equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills and approaches to conduct the relevant assessments in the workplace.

COMPLIANCE MANAGERS: These assessments may be conducted on behalf of the Compliance Institute Southern Africa once you have successfully completed this programme and met the Compliance Institute's registration requirements.

RISK MANAGERS: This programme will enable you to register as an Assessor with The Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) once you have successfully completed this programme and met IRMSA's registration requirements.

• Provide feedback on assessments to candidates

• Review and provide feedback on the assessment process

Learning Assumed to be in Place: 

COMPLIANCE MANAGERS: Delegates wishing to enroll on this programme should have evaluative expertise within the Compliance field in which they intend to assess.

RISK MANAGERS: Delegates wishing to enroll on this programme should have evaluative expertise within the Management of Risk field in which they intend to assess.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): 

RPL against this unit standard is allowed only in the case where such applicant can proof that training was conducted on the outcomes-based assessment process.

Methodology: 

METHODOLOGY

Training Programme Duration: There is a pre-course component plus two days contact sessions.

Assessment: Within three weeks of completing the training. Assessment activities include observing the candidate for 2 hours through all the steps of the assessment process, evaluating all assessment documentation produced through the assessment process and questioning to test the candidate’s embedded knowledge.

Certification: This includes obtaining endorsement from the ETDQA (excludes registration at CISA / IRMSA).
